I have been designing and building award-winning homes for more than thirty years.

In addition to being a registered Architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects, I have also built sixteen of my original designs in Washington, Alaska and Vermont, an area rich in architectural tradition and where I was awarded the Home of the Year, twice. These years, on the job in challenging climates have influenced me to design buildings that are practical to build, strong, and warm.

My small practice, located on San Juan Island in Washington State, offers a client personal attention and a full range of Architectural services including site development, professional design and building engineering, preparation of blueprints and other contract documents, and construction administration.
